Amanda Frey She/Her Therapist and founder

Amanda is a licensed clinical social worker living and working in Brooklyn, New York. This growing practice is the realization of a lifelong dream to provide mental health services to her queer community, particularly transgender and GNC folks. Praha Lamisa She/Her Associate therapist

Praha is a licensed master social worker and first-generation American of Bangladeshi descent who is committed to using a trauma-informed and decolonial perspective in the therapeutic process. Praha believes in building a healing space for clients where safety, warmth, and mutual respect are foundational in clients’ flourishing. 

Praha is interested in working with clients seeking treatment for complex trauma, improving self worth/self esteem, and navigating dual cultural issues for POC. She is experienced at addressing anxiety, depression, and other various mood disorders.

Gigi Huang They/Them Associate therapist

Gigi is a non-binary, mentally ill Taiwanese immigrant. Their journey as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) is guided by lived experience and a strong commitment to justice. They have worked with toddlers, teenagers, and adults from all walks of life since 2016. Gigi's expertise lies in working with people living with complex trauma and substance use. They are also in community with kinksters and sex workers, and are equipped to discuss non-monogamy, relationships involving power exchange (e.g., sub/dom dynamics), and fetish related matters.

Ross Allen He/Him Practice manager

Ross Allen is a student, Air Force veteran, and the newest team member at Frey Psychotherapy. Ross handles client concerns, referrals, and other administrative work with a kind and compassionate heart.
